The Boundary Waters Canoe Area(BWCA) is located in Northern Minnesota.   The above map shows approximately where in Minnesota wht BWCA is(Green Area).   My BWCA experience began about 10 years ago.  My parents took me and since then it has become an anual trip.  I have been on many different trips in many locations.  My personal favorite entry point The Gunflint Trail in Grand Marias, MN.   Other Places to enter include ELY, MN, Sawbill Trail.  The BWCA is a unique camping experience.  It takes planning, hard work, and a good attitude to enjoy the trip.   However, if you put in these three ingredients you will find it one of your best vacations ever.  Planning is the key, the entry to the BWCA is restricted and a permit is required.  I found this website to be very helpful in BWCA Information.  Ok but I was once told a picture is worth a 1000 words so here are several thousand words.
